Dr Ivor Gerber

Dr Ivor Gerber graduated MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 1992 before relocating to New Zealand . He completed his training in Cardiology at Green Lane Hospital in 2000 and holds Fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).
He obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree for his thesis on neurohormones and inflammatory markers in valvular heart disease which was completed during a Cardiovascular Research Fellowship at Green Lane Hospital.
