Prisoners' Aid and Rehabilitation Society

Auckland PARS provides re-integrative services and support to;

- prisoners (sentenced and remand)

- parolees

- home detainees

- ex prisoners and their families / whanau.

Re-integrative service includes;

- securing suitable accommodation

- employment assistance

- support at Work and Income

- assistance to manage finances

- assistance to manage relationship issues, such as prison

visiting and support to contact family

- support to access community and government agencies

- support to network with victim community groups and

programmes that address violence prevention

- restorative justice

- gambling and other addictions

- support to access health providers.
