Manurewa East Primary School

Manurewa East Primary opened in 1962 with 6 teachers' and 182 students. The roll reached a peak in 1969 with more than 625 students on the site and peaked again in 1996 with 630. The roll is now around 350 but may slowly increase as new housing comes on stream.

Set in spacious, sunny grounds, with an increasing number of beautiful trees, the school is fortunate in both it's facilities and the dedication of staff.
